The archaeological site of La Hoya was discovered in 1935 on the outskirts of Laguardia. Research from then have showed that human beings inhabited this area as far as 3,400 years ago.

 

The city, with an extension of approximately 4 hectares, was an important business centre in the Bronze Age.

 

Nowadays the museum located beside the site hosts many of the objects found in the place: vessels, plates, decorative objects...
