Bilbao, Irun, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Zalla
One of the most typical Christmas activities in the Basque Country is going to an ice rink with the family or with the gang. Every year the Town Halls of some cities and towns set up temporary ice skating rinks to be able to offer this recreational and sporting activity to people who want to have fun on these very special dates.
Bilbao
At Christmas the Biscayan capital hosts an ice rink and a slide. The ecological ice skating facility will be about 800 square meters, with half of the facility covered, and it will be located in the Arenal Pier.
The large slide that has 6 slide lanes will be at the Ripa Pier. Both activities can be enjoyed from November 25.
Vitoria-Gasteiz
In Vitoria-Gasteiz they also install a track and a slide. Located in La Florida park, the track is usually more than 600 square meters, accompanied by a 30-meter long slide, which allows you to take advantage of the slope of the square to slide down them.
Irun
This Christmas Irún has chosen to place two synthetic ice skating rinks spread over various locations. The largest, about 800 square meters, will be installed in the Luis Mariano Gardens and will have a circuit format.
The second ice rink is designed for boys and girls and will be located in the Sargia park, next to a Christmas village.
In addition, they will also install a slide in the Anzaran square and a Christmas market in the Ensanche square.
Zalla
Zalla will set up a provisional ice rink of 200 square meters in the Euskadi square.
